South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center Set to Present ‘Sheléa: Natural Woman’


The South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center, 10950 SW 211 St., will present “Sheléa: Natural Women – A Night of Soul,” highlighting the dazzling artistic prowess of this powerful singer and protege of Quincy Jones, on Friday, March 18. , at 20 hours

Featured on Grammy-nominated albums and several movie soundtracks, Sheléa brings a contemporary twist to classics while blending traditional pop, jazz, R&B and soul performing timeless hits from pop-soul divas Adele, Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin , and more. She has toured with Stevie Wonder, performed at the White House and Carnegie Hall, and recorded with Take 6 and Dave Koz.

Raised in California, Sheléa creates original music and travels the world as a featured singer. As an accomplished songwriter, singer, pianist, arranger and producer, Sheléa has cemented her reputation as the go-to voice for legendary tribute concerts.

Shelea: Natural Women – A Night of Soul is recommended for ages 13 and up. All patrons entering the theater require a ticket, regardless of age. Food and drinks from outside are not allowed in the room. Strollers are not allowed inside the auditorium. Senior and military discounts are available in person only.
